| Scirocco is a wind that blows towards Southern Europe from North Africa, and the wind, as a source of inspiration, is very much apparent in the design.
According to designer Hans Thyge, Scirocco furniture is “light and airy by design. The billowing skirtings are reminiscent of a net blowing in the wind.” The wind can also blow freely through the chairs, because they are open front and back. The benefit here is that there is plenty of room for your legs.
Scirocco is made from the unique SunLoom fibres, to form extremely durable and elegant wickerwork.
